§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if he will state what steps he proposes to take to prevent crofter leaseholders from being evicted pending the consideration of the promised Bill to amend the Crofters' Act of 1886.
§ MR. SINCLAIRI strongly deprecate any action of the kind referred to by my hon. friend. Pending the introduction of the Bill, however, I am not in a position to give any undertaking.
