SHEEHY (Meath, S.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the sale of the Rathregan estate, Westmeath, has been sanctioned by the Estates Commissioners; whether the Commissioners were aware that William Allen, a tenant on the property, sold a portion of his farm to Messrs. Wallace, of Dublin; whether the said farm is 500 acres in extent; and whether the Commissioners, having regard to the decision in the Ward case, are prepared to advance public money for the purchase of Allen's divided farm.
