§ MR. JAMES O'CONNOR (Wicklow, W.)To ask the Postmaster-General 1124 whether he is aware that in a number of post offices there has been a paper transfer of postmen from head to sub-offices, no difference being made in duties, the only alteration being that the men now receive their wages at the sub-office instead of at the head office; and whether he will state if, in the event of the pay at the head office being raised and the pay at the sub-office remaining stationary, this paper transfer will deprive the men of the benefits they would have received otherwise.
