HC Deb 19 June 1907 vol 176 c479
CAPTAIN CRAIG

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Local Government Board have yet instituted proceedings against Mr. Cawley for illegally acting and voting as a county councillor on the Sligo County Council; and, if so, with what result.

MR. BIREELL

The reply is in the negative. The Sligo County Council have full power to exclude Mr. Cawley from participation in their proceedings, and if they should fail to do so it is open to any ratepayer to take action in the matter.
