SIR GEORGE FARDELL

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether his.attention has been called to the proceedings of the Croghan and Rooskey (county Roscommon) branches of the United Irish League, which indicated persons who would meet with the displeasure of the League if they refused to obey their instructions; and whether, considering the disturbed state of the country, he will take immediate action to prevent the public circulation of such resolutions.
