§ MR. FIELDTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he can arrange that the questions in dispute in regard to the use of perchloride of mercury be referred to arbitration, and that the whole of the explosives, the property of Kynoch, Limited, be released.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) The Answer is in the negative, for reasons which I have already explained very fully in reply to numerous Questions on the subject. I will only add that the delay in bringing this matter to a conclusion is due to Messrs. Kynoch themselves.
