HC Deb 07 June 1907 vol 175 c960
MR. PIKE PEASE (Darlington)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been called to the publication on 1st June of certain resolutions passed by the Skreene and Dromard, Highwood, Geevagh, Ballyfarnon, and Moylough branches of the United Irish League, indicating persons whose conduct was objectionable and worthy of punishment; and, seeing that the publication of such notices is intimidatory to the persons soreferred to, whether he will consult with the Law Officers with regard to the prohibition of such publications.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) I beg to refer to my Answer to a similar Question put by the hon. Member for the City of London yesterday. ‡
