HC Deb 07 June 1907 vol 175 c959
MR. BOLAND (Kerry, S.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that representations have frequently been made to the Congested Districts Board as to the necessity of constructing a road from Cahircivane to Clogvoola, in the Cahirciveen district; that, although a promise has been given that an inspector will be sent to report on the application, no inspection has been made; and can he say whether this promise will be given effect to; and, if so, when the inspector will be sent.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Congested Districts Board have no funds for expenditure upon further public works during the coming year, and there is, therefore, no necessity for an immediate inspection in this case. The Board intend to have an inspection made before next autumn.
