§ Mr. WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if he will state how many prosecutions for illegal trawling were instituted during the year ending 31st December, 1906, on information given by the commander of each Fishory Board cruiser, indicating the cases in which penalties were imposed and the cases in which the offenders elected to go to prison.

§ Mr. SINCLAIRThe Beith Academy is under the control of a popularly elected body, viz., the school board of the parish of Beith, and as any changes which may have been made in the curriculum of the school must have been authorised by them, these changes cannot be regarded as a breach of the principle of public control.
