HC Deb 29 July 1907 vol 179 cc464-5
*SIR CHARLES DILKE (Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether the Cavalry supernumerary to the Yeomanry regiments of the Territorial Army, and intended to form the divisional Cavalry of the expeditionary force, are to be armed with the rifle and bayonet or with cavalry weapons.

These troops will be armed with the rifle and sword bayonet.
