COOPER (Southwark, Bermondsey)To ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he has in the possession of his Department any information of the regulations and procedure governing the second ballot at elections in different European countries; and, if so, whether he will consider the advisability of issuing it.
§ (Answered by Mr. John Burns.) The Local Government Board have no special information in their possession on this subject. I may, however, draw my hon. friend's attention to some Reports obtained by the Foreign Office in relation to the matter, which will be found in the three Parliamentary Papers numbered Cd. 2987 of 1881, Cd. 3159 of 1882, and Cd. 6953 of 1893.
