HC Deb 12 July 1907 vol 178 c196
MR. PATRICK WHITE

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether Michael Tiernan, at present residing at Woodmill, Townley Hall, has applied to the Estates Commissioners to be reinstated in two holdings from which he was evicted; and, if so, what action has been taken in his case.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners have inquired into Michael Tiernan's application for reinstatement, and have decided to take no action as regards the claim to the holding on Miss Coddington's Estate, and to deal with the application in respect of the Balfour Estate in connection with the sale of that estate.
