I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if he will state how the number of men now in the British Navy compares with the number in 1904–5.

The number of officers, seamen and boys, coastguard, and Royal Marines now borne is approximately 127,030. The average number borne during the year 1904–5 was 130,490.
