HC Deb 19 February 1907 vol 169 c693
MR. WILES (Islington, S.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether he will consider the advisability of arranging for Savings Bank business to be transacted after 8 p.m. at those post offices which at present are open after that hour for the transaction of other business, so that better facilities may be afforded for the safe custody of the funds of friendly and other societies which collect large sums during the evening.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) I will consider the question, and will communicate with the hon. Member later.
