HC Deb 28 August 1907 vol 182 c437
MR. FIELD

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether seeing that the rates of leave and annual allowances permitted to examiners and chief examiners in the Exchequer and Audit Department compare unfavourably with the leave and allowances permitted to corresponding ranks in the War Office, he will explain the difference in the conditions of service in the two Departments which gives rise to this difference in leave and allowances.

(Answered by Mr. Runciman.) I have nothing to add to my previous Answer on this Question.
