HC Deb 28 August 1907 vol 182 c446

To ask the Postmaster-General if he will issue instructions to the postmasters of the five Scotch offices and Newcastle-on-Tyne to arrange that the adult night messengers be paid their weekly wages when leaving off duty on Saturday morning.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) The rule of the Department is to pay the weekly wages on the completion of the week's work. I will inquire if this rule is being followed at the offices referred to.
