To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is now in a position to say that there is no ground for the grave charges made against the Staffordshire police in connection with the case of G. Edalji.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) Many allegations have been made against the Staffordshire police in connection with this case, but in my opinion they acted throughout in entire good faith,
