HC Deb 08 August 1907 vol 180 cc305-6
MR. MORTON (Sutherland)

To ask the hon. Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, whether the Law Officers have yet given their opinion on the valuation of sheep stocks in Scotland under the Agricultural Act, 1906; and, if so, will the Government make known the result.

(Answered by Sir Edward Strachey.) The Answer to the first part of the Question is in the negative; and, with regard to the second part, I understand that it is contrary to the usual practice to publish opinions of the Law Officers of the Grown.
