HC Deb 06 August 1907 vol 179 c1815
MR. FLAVIN (Kerry, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the untenanted land on the Blacker-Douglas estate, at Tulli-hinal, North Kerry, which was offered for sale to the Estates Commissioners to enlarge uneconomic holdings and reinstate evicted tenants, has been inspected; and, if so, whether he can state with what result; what is the price asked by the landlord; and what is the price offered by the Estates Commissioners.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners have had an inspection made of the untenanted land on this estate and have directed their inspector to furnish further information on the subject, on the receipt of which the Commissioners will consider what amount they could advance for the purchase of the land under the Act of 1903. The owner has not named a price for the land.
