MR. FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the books of the Irish Land Commission are kept in duplicate in order to enter up the names, advances, interest, &, of every tenant; and, if so, whether he can arrange that the original registers shall be kept in Dublin, and all the work of the Irish Department done in Ireland as far as possible.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The books of the Irish Land Commission are not prepared in duplicate.
