HC Deb 30 April 1907 vol 173 c680
SIR THOMAS ESMONDE

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland, if he will consider the advisability of extending to Ireland the provisions of the Public Trustee Act passed last session for England.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) His Majesty's Government will, at a suitable opportunity, consider the question of introducing legislation for Ireland upon the lines of the Public Trustee Act of last session, but in the present state of public business it does not seem possible that such legislation can be introduced in the near future.
