§ MR. HART-DAVIES (Hackney, N.)To ask the Secretary of State for India whether his attention has been called to the fact that in March, 1904, eleven resident magistrates were appointed in Sind to form a separate service, and that a protest was received from the Sind Hindu Sabha, on 27th November, 1906, against recent orders amalgamating these appointments with the Revenue Department; and whether, considering the desirability generally of separating judicial and executive functions, he will 1549 consider the expediency of reverting to the arrangements of 1904.
