South Eastern and London, Chatham and Dover Railways Bill.—As amended considered; to be read the third time.

Taff Vale Railway Bill.—As amended considered; Amendments made; Bill to be read the third time.

Local Government Provisional Orders (No. 4 Bill).—Read a second time, and committed.

Brighouse Corporation Bill.—Reported from the Police and Sanitary Committee, with Amendments; Report to lie upon the Table, and to be printed.

Standing Orders.—Resolutions reported from the Select Committee:—

"That, in the case of the Mullingar, Kells, and Drogheda Railway Bill, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill, provided the powers of guarantee and of raising money and applying their funds proposed to be conferred upon the county council of the comity of Meath be struck out of the Bill unless proof be given to the Committee on the Bill that the county council of the county of Meath have approved the Bill with or without modification in the manner prescribed by Standing Order 67:—That the Committee on the Bill do report how far such Order has been complied with."

"That, in the case of the Electric Supply Corporation Bill [Lords], the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill."

"That, in the case of the Great Central Railway Bill, Petition for Additional Provision, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to insert the additional Provision if the Committee on the Bill think fit."
