HC Deb 22 April 1907 vol 172 cc1422-3
MR. GULLAND

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether, in connection with the Education (Scotland) Bill, he will introduce a Bill consolidating all the statutes with regard to education in Scotland, and so satisfy the demand of those administering these statutes.

MR. SINCLAIR

While there would be advantages in passing such a consolidating measure, its preparation may more profitably be undertaken when the present legislative proposals of the Government as to education in Scotland have been given effect to. In any case it is quite impossible for the Government to undertake further legislation on the subject this session.
