HC Deb 17 April 1907 vol 172 c947
DR. COOPER (Southwark, Bermondsey)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Homo Department whether the superintendent of the Public Carriage Department inspects the cars of the South Metropolitan Tramways Company; and whether any application had been made by the South Metropolitan Tramways Company for the superintendent to give evidence on their behalf at the inquest on Mrs. Wilhelmina Suhr held at Croydon.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) The Commissioner of Police informs me that the Answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative, and that that to the second part is in the negative.
