DR. RUTHERFORD (Middlesex, Brentford)To ask the President of the Board of Education what is the constitution of the Court of Governors of Nottingham University College; and whether the Board of Education approved of the constitution of this body before the charter was granted.
(Answered by Mr. McKenna.) The Charter provides that the Court of Governors shall consist of the President, the Vice-Presidents, and the Mayor, Aldermen, and Citizens of the City of Nottingham acting by the City Council. The Answer to the second paragraph is in the negative.
