BENNETT (Oxfordshire, Woodstock)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether within the last few months His Majesty's Government has received Reports upon the condition of affairs in the Congo State from the British consular staff on the Congo: and, if so, whether His Majesty's Government will lay these Reports upon the Table of the House.
§ SIR EDWARD GREYReports have been received from His Majesty's consular officers in the Congo within the last few months. But I do not propose to present a second set of Papers to Parliament this year, and there is nothing in the Reports referred to which is of such special interest as to require separate publication,
