HC Deb 27 November 1906 vol 165 c1398
MR. FIELD

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he can see his way to increase the minimum wages of the outport watchers of His Majesty's Customs in Ireland to 24s. a week, with fourteen days' annual leave and full pay during illness.

(Answered by Mr. McKenna.) The wages and other conditions are the same for the watchers at outports in Ireland as in Great Britain, and they are thought to be quite adequate for the work.
