§ LORD BALCARRESI beg to ask the President of the Board of Education upon what date the Swansea Local Education Authority undertook to carry out the directions of the Board of Education.
§ MR. LOUGHI must refer the hon. Member to the very full Answer given yesterday in explanation of the situation in Swansea,† to which I have nothing to add except that I am not aware that the Swansea Local Education Authority have undertaken to carry out, or on the other hand are failing to carry out any directions of the Board of Education; if, however, the Question in this respect has reference to the matter of differentiation of salaries, it will be obvious that for the present I can add nothing to what has been said on this point.
