HC Deb 27 November 1906 vol 165 cc1399-400
MR. NIELD (Middlesex, Ealing)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty what ships are armed with the 12-inch gun, mark X; also on what date this mark was finally adopted by the Admiralty as the standard 12-inch gun; and further, whether the guns of this class now mounted in the "Dreadnought" were originally destined for the armament of one or more of the ships now under construction or completing for sea.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) It is not considered desirable in the public interest to give information as to the particular mark of guns supplied to ships.
