HC Deb 19 November 1906 vol 165 cc380-1
MR. FELL (Great Yarmouth)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty if his attention has been called to the amount of repairs and refitting required by the Fleet at Devonport; and whether, under the circumstances, he will stop any further discharges of men from the dockyard there.

* The CIVIL LORD of the ADMIRALTY (Mr. Lambert, Devon, S. Molton)

The Admiralty is fully alive to the amount of repairs required by the fleet at Devonport and other dockyards. There are no arrears. No reduction in the total number of men employed at Devonport is contemplated.
