HC Deb 07 November 1906 vol 164 c563
MR. LUXDON (Limerick, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can say what progress has been made in the restoration of Michael Power to his evicted farm on the Croker property in Moohane, Herbertstown, county Limerick; have the Estates Commissioners taken any steps to remove the planter Kirby: and, if so, with what results.

MR. BRYCE

The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have had an inspection made of the untenanted land on the Courtenay Croker estate, but have not yet considered the inspector's report. If the Commissioners should purchase the property, they will endeavour either to restore Power to his former holding or to provide him with a new holding on the untenanted land.

MR. LUNDON

He will not take a new holding; he wants the old one.
