I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India if he can state what reply was made to the offer of the Bengal and North-Western Railway to build a bridge over the Ganges at Godagiri at their own expense.

No reply has yet been given to the offer of the Bengal and North-Western Railway Company to build a bridge over the Ganges at Godagiri, as I am awaiting a Report from the Government of India on the subject.
