HC Deb 01 November 1906 vol 163 cc1303-4
MR. FETHERSTONHAUGH (Fermanagh, N.)

To ask the Postmaster-General if he is aware that Mrs. Brachen, of the Hill, Blacklion, whose house is situate less than 200 yards from the post office in the village of Blacklion, county Cavan, only gets delivery of letters at her house on two days in the week; is this in accordance with the rules as to delivery of letters at Blacklion: and, if so, will he take steps to have the rules altered so as to secure a daily delivery of letters at places not unreasonably remote from the post office.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) I have called for a Report on this subject, and will communicate the result to the hon. Member in due course.
