§ SIR H. COTTON (Nottingham, E.)To ask the secretary of State for India when he expects to be in a position to give information regarding the payment of the first instalment of the Tibetan indemnity.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Morley.) As I stated on the 9th instant, † early payment of the first instalment of the indemnity may be looked for. But I have not yet heard that the payment has been made.
