To ask the Secretary for Scotland in view of the statement contained on page 5 of the Education (Scotland) Report, Northern Division, will he supply a list of the forty schools on the mainland of Ross-shire which were visited by the medical officer of health for the county, in company with Mr. Macdonald, in March last; and will those schools to which a water supply is not laid on be indicated.

Invergordon Public School, New-more Public School, Saltburn Public School Strathrusdale Public School, Inver Public School, Tain Public School, Old Public School, Tarbert, West Public School, Tarbert, Marybank Public School, Tarradale Public School. The names of those in which a water supply was not laid on at the date of the visit are printed in italics.
