HC Deb 18 May 1906 vol 157 c778
MR. BOLAND

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he has received the resolution of the Cahirciveen District Council with reference to the improvement of the administration of sea fisheries and the institution of a Government brand for mackerel and herrings; and whether he will convey this representation from an important sea fisheries district to the Commission appointed to inquire into the working of the department.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) I have received the resolution referred to. I scarcely think that a technical detail of this kind comes within the scope of the reference to the Committee which has been appointed to inquire into the working of the Department.
