Resolved, That it is expedient to authorise the imposition of a Stamp Duty of Five pounds on Certificates of Registration in the case of Alkali Works and of Three pounds in the case of any other Work in pursuance of any Act of the present session to consolidate and amend the Alkali, &c, Works Regulation Acts, 1881 and 1892, and the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament, of salaries and remuneration and of expenses incurred in the execution of such Act.—(Mr. John Burns.)
