§ SIR W. J. COLLINS (St. Pancras, W.)To ask the First Lord of the Treasury, whether he would be prepared to consider a petition having for its object a reform of the Royal College of Surgeons, with a 41 view to giving some voice in the management of the College and its property to the members of the College.
(Answered by Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman.) I shall be glad to consider any petition which my hon. friend may send me, but, as he is no doubt aware, any change in the constitution of the Royal College of Surgeons can only be carried out by legislation unless such change has the support of the governing body of the college.
