HC Deb 08 May 1906 vol 156 c1142
MR. BARRIE (Londonderry, N.)

To ask the Postmaster-General if it is with his sanction and approval that certain Irish postmasters, when advertising for assistants, stipulate that applicants must be Roman Catholics.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) I have no knowledge of any such advertisements as those referred to by the hon. Member, but if he will give particulars I will make inquiry.
