HC Deb 08 May 1906 vol 156 c1165
MR. WEIR

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether he is aware that Dr. Young, the medical officer of health for the western district of Ross-shire, reports that the health of the children attending the public schools at Arinacrinachd and Camersterrach is imperilled through collections of stagnant water at the entrance to the schools; and will the Local Government Board for Scotland communicate with the local authority on the subject with a view to the nuisance being removed.

THE SECRETARY FOR SCOTLAND (Mr. SINCLAIR,) Forfarshire

The Local Government Board are aware of the statements in the Report referred to, and have already communicated with the local authority with a view to the removal of any nuisance found to exist.
