§ MR. BELLAIRSTo ask the Secretary to the Admiralty how many cadets have enter£d the Royal Naval College 835 at O borne, up to and including the examination in November, 1905, and how many of these cadets were the sons of persons: in straitened circumstances for whom he fees were reduced.
(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) Of the 588 cadets who have entered the Royal Naval College at Osborne up to and including January, 1906, thirty-three were entered at the reduced rate of £40. The regulations limit the grant of this rate to the sons of naval and military officers and of civil officers under the Board of Admiralty.
