MR. SLOAN (Belfast, S.)

To ask the Postmaster - General if he will give instructions for the letter-box at Ballyna, hinch to be cleared each morning previous to the mails being sent out, so as to expedite the delivery of letters in the surrounding towns.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) The box in question is cleared every morning in time for the letters to be included in the early despatches made to the surrounding district, and in the despatch to Belfast at 10 a.m.
