HC Deb 21 March 1906 vol 154 c365
MR. MILDMAY (Devonshire, Totnes)

To ask the First Lord of the Treasury if the Committee on Procedure will be invited to consider the desirability of allowing strangers sitting beneath the Gallery to retain their seats during divisions.

(Answered by Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman.) I do not know that this is a question that comes within the purview of the Committee on Procedure. I sympathise with the hon. Member's object, and I will consult the authorities of the House as to what steps can be taken to meet his views.
