MR. FELL (Great Yarmouth)

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether he has any official information as to the purchase by Germans of two more anthracite collieries in South Wales; and whether he will consider the advisability of introducing legislation to prevent the transfer of coal mines to foreigners, with a view to preserving supplies of coal necessary for the Royal Navy.
