HC Deb 14 March 1906 vol 153 cc1249-50
MR. LUNDON (Limerick E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can say if negotiations for sale to the tenants are in progress between Mrs. Hildyard and the Estates Commissioners, in regard to her estate in Dunkip Croom, County Limerick; whether the unoccupied portion of the estate will be parcelled out to labourers; and will the part subject to inundations be given over to poor farmers in the district.

MR. BRYCE

I am informed by the Estates Commissioners that no proceedings for the sale of this estate have been instituted before them. They have, however, received an application on behalf of the labourers on the estate which will be duly considered in the event of the estate coming before them to be dealt with.
