HC Deb 14 March 1906 vol 153 c1230
MR. BELLAIRS

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty what was the number of cadets borne on the Royal Naval College, Osborne, on which the calculation of the cost to the State of £98 per annum per cadet was founded; whether he will state the actual number of cadets there at the present moment; and whether the calculation takes account of the further prospective expenditure under the Works Vote of the new financial year.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) The number on which the calculation was based was 414; the actual number of cadets at Osborne at the present moment is 416. The Answer to the last part of the Question is in the affirmative.
