To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland, who is responsible for the designing of the new Great Seal of Ireland.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Great Seal of Ireland was, in pursuance of an Order in Council, engraved at the Royal Mint in 1903 from designs approved by a previous Order in Council. The hon. Baronet will find full information on the subject at page 16 of the Annual Report of the Deputy Master and Comptroller of the Mint for 1904 [Cd. 2588.]
