HC Deb 08 March 1906 vol 153 c621
MR. PIKE PEASE (Darlington)

To ask the First Lord of the Treasury, whether, in view of the Report of the Departmental Committee on Vagrancy, the Government intend to bring in legislation, at an early date, dealing with this subject.

(Answered by Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman.) I think the hon. Gentleman is a little precipitate. The Report of the Vagrancy Committee has only just been issued, and until we have had time to consider its recommendations it is impossible to make any statement as to the intentions of the Government.
