HC Deb 06 March 1906 vol 153 c284
MR. BARNARD (Kidderminster)

To ask the First Lord of the Treasury if he will consider the advisability of adding a member of the Thames Conservancy to the Royal Commission appointed to inquire into the Canals and Inland Navigations of the United Kingdom, as the Regent's Canal, the Grand Junction, and half a dozen other important canals-join the River Thames, which is controlled by the Conservancy Board.

(Answered by Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman.)The canal interest is already fully represented, and I am not prepared to accept the hon. Member's, suggestion.
